If you are like so many others and are not ready to cave in and buy a new computer then you are opening up yourself to infections from bot-related malicious software. That is according to the just released Microsoft Security Intelligence Report that covers the first half of 2010.

Upgrading your system today is no where near as big of a deal as it was even a year ago. With the prices of decent systems dropping down to record lows and the release of Windows 7 there has never been a better time to consider that upgrade. I have been running Windows 7 since the first beta and I can tell you that they have done a fantastic job listening to us about what we wanted. Not only that but the trouble they ran into with Windows Vista have been worked out and the new OS is sound and ready for what ever you need it to do.

With an upgrade you not only get the latest features of the new operating system but from the mass amount of applications that are designed to run with it. Worried about your old software not running on it? Microsoft thought about that as well. Just purchase your system with the professional or Ultimate version and you will have access to the free virtual PC version of Windows XP.

There are some great enhancements to Windows 7 but most of all there has been great advancements in security and network connectivity that are hands down easy to setup and use. have multiple computers that you need to connect? With the new OS it is truly plug and play, no tempered connecting issues that we faced with XP. So don't trust your important data and software because you are not sure if Windows 7 is good enough. It truly is a mature OS and I can say hands down now that Microsoft is 25 they have grown out of their adolescence and are starting to produce a quality product.
